With ’70s disco beats, ’80s and funky ’90s house, along with her personal style and energetic charm, she turns every gig into one to remember.
Before stepping behind the decks, Shirley Hart started her career as a performer and vocalist at Ted Langenbach’s infamous MTC Parties in Rotterdam. In the ’80s Shirley joined the Club RoXY crew in Amsterdam, where she worked as a performer and MC, and to this day you can still find her in documentaries about this era.
In the early ’90s, Shirley traveled the world to dance in clubs like Ibiza’s Pacha and Miami’s BASH, simultaneously working as a model and stylist for leading Dutch artists and photographers such as Micha Klein, Erwin Olaf, Bas Kosters, Cleo Campert, Gerald van der Kaap (Chill Caves), Thomas Manneke and Winter Vandenbrink. She has been featured in the magazines Avenue, Man and Dutch and is showcased in a video special about dance in Stadsarchief Amsterdam, where you can see her as a dancer at RoXY, Pacha and Café d’Anvers.
